ABOUT

Lapé was birthed from my love of cooking and wanting to share the flavors of authentic New Orleans creole cuisine with others.  My mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother cooked for our family with love and you could taste it in every bite.  I would listen to my mother tell stories of growing up in Louisiana, learning what the different dishes meant, and learning how to prepare them...those were the BEST times!  Lapé is paying homage to my mother and her spirit of life.
